Sometimes, a little creativity is required to get that boy to exercise.
Social media is now so heavily entrenched within individuals and corporations that a lot of our thoughts are conveyed on these platforms, rightfully or not.
But social media, as with any other tool, can be used for good, bad, or just used plain stupidly. And then these comments come in fast and furious, and seemingly unabating, a lot of times, admins have no choice but to exercise the delete button.
So, in a new segment I like to call “Before It’s Gone!”, I’m collecting and posting hard truths, before the social media police have the time to press the delete button.
Arsenal finally ended a 13 game streak against chelsea without a win, with Saturday’s Community Shield 1-0 triumph courtesy of a power strike from Oxlade Chamberlain.
After the match, Mourinho hung around the stadium, waiting to congratulate the Arsenal players as they filed out onto the field.
However, before he got to Wenger, Wenger did a manoeuvre and ghosted behind Mourinho, snubbing the proud bastard. What a move! Almost as sleek as the goal the Ox scored.
The Great Singapore Workout was launched in 1993 to the tune of 26,000 people working it out at the Padang, even earning a spot in the Guiness book of Records for the largest mass aerobic session held at one location.
We may have forgotten some of the moves, but no matter. POSB has chipped in to revamp the workout, incorporating moves we’ve been inadvertently practising for years.
When you have moves like “The Prata Flip”, “The Teh Tarik”, “The MRT Squeeze” and “The Bus Balance”, you can’t help but think “hey, I can totally do this!”
Even if you’re not the Teh Tarik man, you’ll be familiar with The Selfie Snap.
Here’s a few more moves I’ll recommend:
1) Lim Kopi
2) The EZ Link Tap
3) The Tissue Chope

Two guys were wondering out loud what noises a fox makes.
They put pen to paper, and wrote a song, and even a video out of it. Sure, it was mostly made in jest, but it sure piqued a hell of a lot of curiosity. Evidently, many other people were wondering about the noises a fox makes as well. To the tune of 100,000,000 video views in just over a month!
That’s crazy yo!
And if you think this song is going to be even more popular than Gangnam Style, you’re probably right. It took this song fewer days to get to 100 million views than Gangnam Style did.
So forget prancing around riding an imaginary horse, and instead listen to the possible sounds a fox might make.
Wait, does an elephant really toot?
Oh wait, again, it seems like the main question has just been answered:
You appear for an interview. The interviewer’s room is decked out with a minimal fuss, but you notice a nice window right behind him, with an awesome view of the city.
You make some small talk. You start getting into your work history and giving him the lay of the land.
Suddenly, you notice the sky turn a dark maroon.
Wait, what’s that thing careening toward the city. Is it… can it be? A freaking huge meteor?
You’re paralyzed with fear, but can’t help watching that thing of high definition beauty flying relentlessly to what must be your last few living moments.
You see it impact the city. The plume of dust rises. The ripple of devastation spreading out to your very building tower. You scream and think of your family, and hope it ends fast for you and your loved ones.
Boom! You’ve just been Punk’d! LG, promoting their 84″ ultra HD TV, decided the best way to show off their tv, is to give you an end of the world scare.
A little cruel prank on these interviewees, but I guess they got their point across. And then some.
The next time I see a meteor crashing to Earth, I guess I’ll just laugh and ask where the camera is.
