Feeling low because the skies are cloudy and you’re missing out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to see Venus dancing across the Sun?

Well, what will we do without the internet. National Geographic has some pretty awesome photos the Venus Transit.

For the uninitiated, the Venus Transit is an event whereby Venus passes directly in between Earth and the Sun, allowing us to see Venus as a small black disc moving across the face of the Sun.

The picture below is of the Venus Transit taken in 2004.
